The Maine Department of Labor has submitted a developmental State Plan for occupational safety and health, applicable only to state and local government employment, for determination of initial approval under Section 18 of the OSH Act. OSHA is soliciting written comment on whether or not initial State Plan approval should be granted and offers an opportunity to interested persons to request an informal public hearing on the question of initial State Plan approval.
