The Department intends to publish notice and comment rulemaking to increase the Form LM-2 and Form LM-3 filing thresholds to higher values. The Department considers that these increases are necessary to reflect economic changes and reduce unnecessary reporting burdens on labor organizations whose inflated total receipts should not necessitate greater filing requirements.
