This interim final rule implements the amendments made by the Consolidated Appropriations Act, 2023 (CAA 2023) with respect to the Coronavirus State Fiscal Recovery Fund and the Coronavirus Local Fiscal Recovery Fund established under the American Rescue Plan Act. In December 2022, Congress amended the SLFRF program through the 2023 CAA, permitting recipients to use funds for three new eligible uses.
