The Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) proposes to replace the current four report forms used by distilled spirits plants to report their operations on a monthly basis with one new report form that would be submitted on a monthly basis (plants that qualify to file taxes quarterly or annually would submit the new report quarterly or annually). This proposal will address concerns raised by distilled spirits industry members and will result in savings to the industry and the Bureau by significantly reducing the number of monthly plant operations reports that must be completed and filed by industry members and processed by TTB.  Treasury is considering whether we can achieve relevant statutory objectives at a lower cost.
