The Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) is requesting public comment on possible changes to its alcohol beverage regulations related to allergen labeling. During February 2024, TTB engaged with the public by holding two listening sessions and opening a public docket for written input on labeling of alcohol beverages to disclose per-serving alcohol and nutritional information, major food allergens, and/or ingredients. Consumers, public health stakeholders, alcohol industry trade groups, and industry members of all sizes participated, which informed the development of the proposed regulatory amendments.
