The OCC plans to issue a proposed rule that would amend its regulations governing the disclosure of information pursuant to requests made under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA). The proposal would allow individuals to request expedited processing and appeal denials of expedited processing requests, allow requesters to appeal denials of fee waiver requests, replace the competitive harm standard, and make a technical amendment to make the regulations consistent with the FOIA statute.
