<p>The Coast Guard would issue regulations required by section 11502(f) of the James M. Inhofe National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2023 (NDAA), Public Law 117-263 establishing additional safety requirements applicable to DUKW amphibious passenger vessels (as defined in section 11502(h)(2) of the Act). The proposed rule&nbsp; would include the requirements and considerations from section 11502(b)-(e) of the NDAA within 46 CFR subchapter T and provide an opportunity for the public to comment.&nbsp;&nbsp;</p>
