We will publish an interim final rule, relying on the exception authorities in 2 CFR 200.102(a) and 3474.5, to establish an exception from the requirements that States obtain approval from the Department before granting prior approval requests submitted by subgrantees. The excepted prior approval requirements for which exceptions are made are listed in the regulations.
