The PT3 Program awarded funds to support educators in elementary and secondary schools in their efforts to integrate technology into the classroom. Grants were awarded to consortia of public and private institutions, including at least one institution of higher education, one State and local educational agency, and one other partner.  The Department will rescind the regulations concerning the Preparing Tomorrow’s Teachers to Use Technology Program. We will take this action because this program is no longer authorized by the Higher Education Act of 1965, as amended.
