The Department proposes to amend the regulation in part 75. In order to save nearly $400,000 annually in costs associated with posting to the Federal Register and align with common practices at other agencies, the Department proposes instead to post application notices publicly on the Department’s website and Grants.gov when applicable. In addition, the revisions would streamline the basis for the selection of applications in competitive grant programs and update select definitions related to using and building evidence in Department grant programs.
