The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Loan Programs Office (LPO) is considering changes to the interim final rule that established regulations to administer the Advanced Technology Vehicles Manufacturing (ATVM) Loan Program authorized by section 136 of the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007, as amended (42 U.S.C. 17013) based on experience gained implementing the ATVM loan program and to conform certain provisions to amendments to the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act of 2021 and the Inflation Reduction Act. LPO is pursuing a related rulemaking effort via 1901-AB60.
