EPCA, as amended by EPACT 2005 and EISA 2007, requires the Secretary to update test procedures for traffic signals and pedestrian modules that reflect any technological advances in this equipment and accurately represents the energy consumption of this equipment. DOE is updating its test procedure to incorporate by reference updated industry standards and technology.
