The Energy Policy and Conservation Act of 1975 (EPCA), as amended, prescribes test procedures and energy conservation standards for various consumer products, including external power supplies. This rulemaking is to modify and clarify certain testing requirements in the existing test procedure for external power supplies codified in Appendix Z of subpart B of 10 CFR 430.
