The Energy Policy and Conservation Act of 1975 (EPCA), as amended, prescribes test procedures and energy conservation standards for various consumer products, including external power supplies. This rulemaking is to incorporate an exemption to the standards for external power supplies, established by the EPS Service Parts Act of 2014, into the CFR.
