The Energy Policy and Conservation Act of 1975 (EPCA), as amended, prescribes test procedures and energy conservation standards for various consumer products, including external power supplies.  This proposed rulemaking would, among other things, modify and clarify certain requirements related to the existing test procedure for external power supplies codified in appendix Z of subpart B of 10 CFR 430.
