The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) will consider revisions to 10 CFR 1022 (Compliance with Floodplain and Wetland Environmental Reviews Requirements) establishing the policies and procedures for discharging the Department of Energy’s (DOE’s) responsibilities under E.O. 11988 (as amended), E.O. 13690, and E.O. 11990. The revisions will include updating the definitions, revising the procedures for identifying a floodplain, expanding the information to be included in floodplain findings, and adding new variances.
