<p>The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) published the final Lead and Copper Rule Revision (LCRR) on January 15, 2021. EPA is currently considering revising this rulemaking. This action is consistent with presidential directives issued on January 20, 2021, to the heads of Federal agencies to review certain regulations, including the LCRR (EO 13990). EPA will complete its review of the rule in accordance with those directives and conduct important consultations with affected parties. This review of the LCRR will be consistent with the policy aims set forth in Executive Order 13985 on Advancing Racial Equity and Support for Underserved Communities through the Federal Government.</p>
