This action would continue a rulemaking initiated under RIN 2105-AD54. It would add to the Department´s ADA regulations a requirement, parallel to that in other DOT and Department of Justice ADA rules, that regulated entities reasonable modification policies and practices where necessary to ensure nondiscriminatory transportation services for individuals with disabilities, except where doing so would fundamentally alter the service.
