This rulemaking would amend DOT´s regulations in 2 CFR part 1201 implementing the Governmentwide Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal awards to permit recipients and subrecipients to impose geographic-based hiring preferences whenever not otherwise prohibited by Federal statute.
