        <ADDITIONAL_INFO>This proposed rule would assist the FAA in its oversight responsibilities and ensure consistency between contract and in-house air carrier maintenance. Over 10 years, the cost to part 121 and part 135 air carriers and the FAA would be approximately $2.4 million ($1.6 million, present value at 7 percent).
