FAA proposes to modernize its payment systems to require electronic payments and eliminate the option to pay by paper payment methods such as cash, money orders, and paper checks. This proposal complies with Executive Order 14247 titled "Modernizing Payments To and From America’s Bank Account,” which seeks to increase the efficiency of the Federal Government by phasing our paper disbursements and receipts and mandating electronic payments to and from agencies.
