This rulemaking will amend 49 CFR part 672 to amend training course information, including course titles and hours, in appendix A. This amendment will allow FTA to make changes to the training curriculum to reflect new requirements, including risk-based inspection and risk reduction programs, established for the Public Transportation Safety Program (49 U.S.C. 5329) through the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, enacted as the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act.
