This rulemaking would amend 46 CFR part 296 to conform to the technical changes made to 46 U.S.C. chapter 531 pursuant to section 3508 of the National Defense Authorization Act of 2013. It would allow for the extension of the Maritime Security Program by updating 46 CFR part 296, the current MSP implementing regulations.
