The Federal Housing Finance Agency, jointly with the Federal banking agencies and CFPB, proposed regulations that would establish minimum requirements to be applied by a State in the registration of appraisal management companies. The regulations would also establish reporting requirements for the reporting of activities of appraisal management companies to the FFIEC Appraisal Subcommittee, in determining the payment of the annual registry fee.
