<p>The rulemaking will&nbsp;propose to delete provisions in the current Federal Home Loan Bank capital requirements that reference or otherwise rely on credit ratings issued by an entity regarded as a Nationally Recognized Statistical Rating Organization by the Securities and Exchange Commission, and replace those provisions, where necessary, with new provisions based on other appropriate credit worthiness standards. It will also propose other changes to the rule to update and strengthen the capital requirements.</p>
