Section 10(g) of the Federal Home Loan Bank Act requires the Director of the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) to adopt regulations establishing standards of community investment or service for Federal Home Loan Bank members to maintain continued access to long-term Bank advances. This rulemaking would revise and update the existing community support standards at part 1290 of the FHFA regulations.  Revisions may include modifications to the requirements for a Targeted Community Lending Plan and minor technical amendments. For consistency across regulations, the Agency may propose minor technical amendments to the portions of 12 CFR part 1291 that reference the Targeted Community Lending Plan.
