NASA is issuing a direct to final rule to amend the NASA FAR Supplement (NFS) to remove the following definitions from NFS part 1802: Administrator, Contracting activity, Head of the agency or agency head, Head of the contracting activity (HCA), NASA Acquisition Internet Service (NAIS), Procurement officer, and Senior Procurement Executive. This direct to final rule is not required to be published for public comment as it removes definitions from the NFS that affect only the internal Agency administrative procedures and has no cost or administrative impact on contractors or prospective contractors.
