NASA amended it Privacy Act regulation to establish procedures for individuals to access their Privacy Act records and to request amendment of information in records concerning them. The rule provided procedures for administrative appeals and other remedies. The final rule amended the way NASA governs the implementation of the Privacy Act by providing for electronic access to records and exempting NASA's harassment investigation case file from specific subsections in the rule. Updates were also made to titles.
