The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is proposing to amend its claims adjudication, appeals and regulations.  This rulemaking is needed to ensure that VA’s regulations dealing with claims and appeals comport with changes to relevant statutes enacted by H.R. 2288, Pub. L. 115-55, the Veterans Appeals Improvement and Modernization Act of 2017.
