The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) proposes to amend the portion of the VA Schedule for Rating Disabilities (VASRD) that addresses neurological conditions and convulsive disorders entitled, Neurological Conditions and Convulsive Disorders in the Code of Federal Regulations (38 CFR 4.120 4.124a). The purpose of these changes is to incorporate medical advancements that have occurred since the last revision, update current medical terminology, and provide clear evaluation criteria. These proposed amendments are in accordance with the President’s priorities that improve service delivery, customer experience, and reduce administrative burdens for those accessing public benefits and services.
