Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) amends its regulations to modify the organizational alignment of the Center for Innovation for Care and Payment (the Center) to the VHA. This final rule will modify the named organizational alignment of the Center for Innovation for Care and Payment and will modify the named reference of the website where pilot program materials may be viewed. These changes will not modify any criteria or procedures in VA’s conduct of pilots through the Center for Innovation for Care and Payment to develop innovative approaches to testing payment and care models to reduce expenditures while preserving or enhancing the quality of care furnished by VA. The changes in this rule relate solely to VA’s internal administrative alignment of responsibilities and are not substantive in nature.
