The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is proposing to amend its rules on the servicer tier ranking procedures, specifically the criteria by which the tier ranking is determined. VA would further revise incentive payments for those servicers based on their ranking. These amendments are necessary to ensure that VA home loan servicers provide veterans with the level of service VA would require and to protect the interest of VA and the holder of the loan.
