2900-AS35 202504 Unified Agenda of Federal Regulatory and Deregulatory Actions 2900 Department of Veterans Affairs VA Removal of Outdated Regulations Concerning the Processing of Eligibility of Verification Reports

This rulemaking amends the Department of Veterans Affairs' (VA) adjudication regulations concerning the processing of eligibility verification reports. VA is issuing this final rule to remove an outdated regulation that does not align with current policy based upon Executive Order 14219 which directed the heads of executive departments and agencies to review their regulations and repeal those which are unlawful or impose undue burdens. This final rule removes a VA regulation which has no current or future applicability and, therefore, no longer provides useful guidance.
