Staff is proposing amendments to Regulation 40.11, which addresses the review of event contracts based upon certain excluded commodities, as defined in section 1a(19)(iv) of the Commodity Exchange Act. The proposal will provide additional regulatory clarity for exchanges seeking to list event-based contracts, including contracts that may constitute gaming.
