The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) and other Federal agencies are required to have regulatory compliance procedures for processing complaints against the agency under sections 504 and 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended. The EEOC's complaint procedures and related compliance information are published at 29 CFR part 1615. The revised rule will update terminology changed by the ADA Amendments Act of 2008, add updated examples of auxiliary aids and services based on the Commission's own practice, and make other technical revisions for clarity.
