<p>GSA is&nbsp; proposing to amend&nbsp;the Federal Management Regulation (FMR) to update the part of the FMR that addresses historic preservation. This revision will bring GSA&rsquo;s leasing price preference policy into alignment with the National Historic Preservation Act of 1966, as amended, the original basis for initiating the price preference in the 1980s, when GSA&rsquo;s comprehensive procedures for historic properties were established, and updates the authority citation to reflect the 2014 recodification of certain provisions of the National Historic Preservation Act. This part was last revised on November 8, 2005.</p>
