The White House National Security Council (NSC) has initiated an interagency policy committee (IPC) process to review Executive Order 13526, "Classified National Security Information" for possible revision. As the regulation at 32 CFR 2001 implements Executive Order 13526, the need and timeline to revise this regulation is ultimately tied to the results of the NSC's process.
