The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) plans to rescind 49 CFR part 807, which contains citations to outdated authority concerning nondiscrimination in NTSB programs or activities. The NTSB adheres to current statutory requirements regarding nondiscrimination, and has concluded part 807 is unnecessary and outdated. The NTSB's notice for rescinding part 807 follows a notice the NTSB published in the Federal Register in June 2012, which indicated the NTSB would review all NTSB regulations and amend them to ensure they are up-to-date, in accordance with Executive Orders 13563 and 13579.
