The Commission issued interpretive guidance and requested comment on the definitions of "mortgage related security" and "small business related security" in sections 3(a)(41) and 3(a)(53)(A) in the Exchange Act. The Division is considering recommending that the Commission propose creditworthiness standards to replace the credit rating references contained in those definitions.
