<RULE_TITLE>Nondiscrimination in Financial Assistance Programs of SBA-Effectuation of Policies of Federal Government and SBA Administrator, Subpart A - General Provisions</RULE_TITLE>

In response to Executive Order 14219, SBA has completed a page-by-page, line-by-line review of all of its existing regulations to determine which might be revised or eliminated. This Notice of Proposed Rulemaking would amend SBA’s regulations governing nondiscrimination in its financial assistance programs. This action is necessary to streamline requirements and eliminate provisions that are redundant, ambiguous, or exceed statutory authority. This rule would reduce regulatory burden and provide clarity for recipients of SBA assistance, ensuring a consistent policy of equal opportunity.
