DoD, GSA, and NASA are issuing a final rule to amend the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) to ensure that all contractors are required to complete training in the protection of privacy and the handling and safeguarding of Personally Identifiable Information (PII). The proposed FAR language provides flexibility for agencies to conduct the privacy training or require the contractor to conduct the privacy training.
