This rule will remove from the FAR all requirements related to Executive Order (E.O.) 14057, Catalyzing Clean Energy Industries and Jobs Through Federal Sustainability, that are not otherwise required by statute, to include the requirement to procure products and services subject to non-statutory Environmental Protection Agency purchasing preference programs. This rule implements section 2 of E.O. 14148, Initial Rescissions of Harmful Executive Orders and Actions, which revoked E.O. 14057.
