Title: ●Provide "One-Stop" Service for Aliens Applying for Social Security Cards (569P) | |
Abstract: Aliens will apply for Social Security cards at the same time they complete Immigration and Naturalization Services (INS) paperwork. Currently, alien applicants are required to furnish almost the same information to both SSA and INS. This one-stop service will reduce the potential for issuing Social Security cards based on fraudulent INS documents, and will result in efficiencies for the Government. | |
