Title: NSPS: Municipal Waste Combustion--Phase II and Phase III 
Abstract: The Clean Air Act Amendments of 1990 direct the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) to set standards of performance and emission guidelines for new and existing municipal waste combustors under Sections 111 and 129; to base these standards and guidelines on maximum achievable control technology; and to include emission limits for particulate matter, sulfur dioxide, hydrogen chloride, oxides of nitrogen, carbon monoxide, mercury, lead, cadmium, and dioxins and dibenzofurans. The standards for both large and small municipal waste combustors have been combined into one set of standards.
