Abstract: The Department regulates computer reservations systems owned by airlines or airline affiliates that are used by travel agencies. The current rules are designed to prevent the systems from unreasonably prejudicing the competitive position of other airlines and to ensure that travel agencies can provide accurate and unbiased information to the public. The Department will reexamine its rules to see whether they should be readopted and, if so, whether they should be changed.
