Title: Sugar Loan Program Crop Year Definition 
Abstract: The Federal Agricultural Improvement and Reform Act of 1996 provides for administration of the Sugar Program on a Fiscal Year basis. This action will change the definition of crop Year for the Sugar Program from July 1 - June 30 to October 1 - September 30 to make it consistent with the Fiscal Year, which will improve the efficiency and analysis of the program. No cost will occur.
