Abstract: This action proposes to revise and clarify certain conditions and limitations in part 135 for instrument flight rules (IFR), passenger-carrying operations in single-engine aircraft. The clarification is necessary to resolve ambiguity in the current rule over the requirement for redundant power for gyroscopic instrumentation.
