Abstract: This rule conforms to the requirements of the Electronic Freedom of Information Act Amendments of 1996. This revision reflects substantial and administrative changes since May 1997, as a result of Department of Defense reorganization efforts. This rule also provides guidance to the Department of Defense on the implementation of this amended law.
