Title: Financial Disclosure of Fishery Management Council Nominees, Members, and Executive Directors
Abstract: This rule revises the rules of conduct and financial disclosure regulations applicable to Regional Fishery Management Council nominees, appointees and voting members. The revisions would implement a provision of the Magnuson-Stevens Act that was amended by the Sustainable Fisheries Act. This provision prohibits council members from voting on matters that would have a significant and predictable effect on a financial interest disclosed in accordance with existing regulations.
