Title: ●Surviving Spouses Benefit for Month of Veteran's Death 
Abstract: To bring the regulation into conformance with the governing statute by providing that the surviving spouse may receive payment for the month of death at the veteran's rate, that rate of benefits is equal to or greater than the rate of death pension or DIC payable to the surviving spouse.
